Wooo! I haven't ranted in a good long while so I think it's high time I get one out here, eh kiddies?

Today's topic? Artists who won't admit they suck.

You've all seen them, we all know them. There they are, lurking in our midst. Artists with such a fanbase of power hungry sickophants[I can't spell, sound it out] that they think they have become.... DUNDUNDUN ART GAWDS!

Seriously, you go to look at these peoples deviations and all you see are 'Omg! Great pic' and 'Omg! That's so awesome' comments or comments that have NOTHING to do with the picture simply because the person commenting couldn't think of some ass kissing line to say but wanted to comment on the grand Art GAWD's picture any ways.

And then here you come, strolling along, actually looking at the art and realizing GASP! PEOPLE DO NOT LOOK LIKE THAT! THIS FALSE ART GOD SUCKS SOME MAJOR HARBULLZ! But you don't say that, because that's mean. Insted you do what any good art follower would do. You give them gentle, nudging critics so they can better their art.

BUT GASPETH IN AWE AT THE INFLATED HEAD OF THE ART GAWD! How could you even think there was anything wrong with his MASTERPEICE! You should be on your knees begging, BEGGING to even gaze upon this wonderful work of genius the likes of which the world had never seen!

And from there, you have a few options. A) You comment is hidden so no one will ever see that an unworthy idiot was on the artists page. B) The artist promptly blesses you out because, HOW DARE YOU NOT KISS HIS ASS! or C) You are simply ignored because you are a worthless peon.

Likewise, this extends to writers who are so used to their ass kissing fanbase that they think that anyone who doesn't like their work, no matter how poorly written or in bad taste it is, is insane.

Whatever this person writes, it should be treated like a sacred text! You should read it with bated breath and then fall on your knees and kiss their feet! They're the next Stephen King, don't you know! No! Greater than Stephen King, he's such a hack next to them, after all!

And all of their other sickophant ass kissing whores love their stories[suchalineofbullshit] WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU?!

And some of the stuff these people draw and write is....icky. I mean please, my characters are by NO means pleasent but does everything have to be GNAROVERMUSCLEDPEOPLEFLEXINGATAKWARDANGLESWITHSTRANGEPOINTOFVIEWS! or GNARTORTURETORTUREMUTILATEVIOLENCEHORRORRIPBLOODGASHSLITSLICECHOPHACKPAINHORRORDEATHMUTILATIONEVILEVILEVILHOOOOOOOOOOOOOORROOOOOOOOOOOR!

I think not.

So, my children, my beloved little weirdos who bother to read my spewings, the next time you're scanning through art, beware. Learn the warning signs!
1) A peice of art of story that is highly flawed but done by someone who's well known, even if it's just to their ass kissing fan base.
2) Nothing but ass kissing comments and no critique what so ever.
3) An utter LACK of understadning for the fact that they, the artist, are not an art GAWD and therefore aren't the best thing since sliced bread and totally without FAIL!

If you see any of these signs, dear friends flee! Flee! Take to your heels! Hit the red X button! Mash you Back button like it's a deadly, deadly spider that needs squishing! And whatever you do....don't try to give an objective critique because the sickophantic whores will fall upon you.... and eat your flesh.

Alright, first off, something I really hate is women who are jealous of and bitchy towards gay men. What the fuck? All the men in the damn world that are straight and you get pissed because the guy you like happens to like dick? I'm sorry that you're not what he's looking for, but that's no excuse to be openly rude and snide about it. I've seen this shit so much on Furcadia and in real life and i'm pretty sure some people who are reading this realize that this is partly directed towards them.

It disgusts me when women, or men for that matter, make rude and ugly comments towards gay and, in some cases, bi sexual, people who are with their own gender because they're jealous. That's all it really boils down to. A man or woman wants another hot woman or man and can't have them because they're either gay or bi sexual and with the same gender. Can you say 'in bad taste'? It's bad enough when heterosexual people are jealous and bitchy because a girl has the guy they want or a guy has the girl they want but I've seen it get really out of hand when it goes to the same sex.

Some people who I've thought of as decent, nice people have made some really shitty, really bitchy comments about homosexuals and I think it all comes back to the 'I wanted him, why does he want some other guy and not me?' Really, I'm pissed. Unlike some of my other rants this is something that really, really, REALLY makes me want to slap some stupid slut across the face.

And I swear, the next time I hear someone say 'What a waste.' in regards to a homosexual I'm going to punch them. No, a waste would be if they settled for some shallow, self centered little bitch like you. It's fine if it's in a joking way, but when you're serious it's damn rude. And you homosexuals have done it too, but I can honestly say I've never heard one of my gay friends act half as bad as some of these straight people do so please, if the guy you like turns up queer, put your big girl panties on and deal with it. There are other fish in the sea.

Now, onto gay stereotypes. I'm just on a queer roll tonight, aren't I?
i'm damn tired of hearing people say "Oh he's gay, he must be a wuss." or "Oh, she's wearing Doc Martins, she must be a dyke." Seriously, what the fuck, that's like saying if you're Irish you have to get drunk and beat your wife.

I've known a lot of gay and bi people and most of them don't fit the 'type'. i have had the pleasure of having a transgender friend and the shit he faced would have been enough to make me get a gun and shut some bigots up. Not all gay men are sissies who bend over for any cock and run around giving fashion tips and going 'Oh mah gawd'. That is such fucking bullshit and I have literally lost friends because they refused to stop pushing those stereotypes and I cussed them out over it.

Just like not all lesbians are big butch bull dykes who were plaid and ride motorcycles.

Some men are feminine and sensitive and have good fashion tips and AREN'T GAY! One of the gayest boys I know is straight and engaged to a girl and it pisses all three of us off so much when people at school say things like "Oh, he just hasn't come out yet." WHY does he have to be gay? Straight men can be pussies too just like gay men can be tough, rugged, mens men!

Have you never heard of a bear! No, not the animal but those big hairy red meat raw boned gay men that would look at home in a biker gang or on a lumber jack crew? That's about as far from 'Queer Guy for the Straight Guy' as you can get. And by the way, that show sucks.

I just found out a few weeks ago that one of my friends is a Lesbian. I was shocked. I tend to think I have good gaydar and while i'd never seen her show interest in a guy she just didn't seem gay! She's pretty and dresses like a girl, she's bright and bubbly and just...a girl! I never would have guessed because she just seemed so straight.

Holy shit! A lesbian that isn't butch! Gasp in horror and awe.

But really, Lesbians have it easier as far as stereotypes than gay men do. What the fucks up with that? The biggest thing I have about lesbians is men being like "She's only a dyke cuz she ain't never had a REAL man!" Oh honey, anyone that says some stupid bullshit like that ISN'T a real man. You're a little boy who still thinks your little dick is the best thing since sliced bread. Guess what? It's not. And no woman HAS to think it is. If someone likes their own gender more then the oppisite gender that's nothing wrong with them and if you think there is something wrong with that then that's YOUR malfunction, not theirs.

So ladies and gents, please, shut the hell up. As with all things, if you're just joking about stereotypes, it canbe fun, but any stereotype on any group becomes a bad thing when you're serious about it. Act like you've got some damn sense.

DUNDUNDUN! Back to Furcadia!

Now, I don't play Furc that much any more. I don't need the drama and the bullshit. And seriously, considering that Furc is mostly teenage girls, it's like one big giant high school bathroom with all the back stabbing and bitchery. But one thing that has always bothered me and continues to bother me is people putting OOC shit into IC posts. Honestly, STFU!

I don't CARE if you think my character is stupid, you have no right to critizie me in your post where I can't say anything back without having an OOC shitfit get started. If your character is pissed because she can't get no dick, that's great. But I don't want to know. If your character just raped their unwilling slave the night before and liked how they cried, that's.....disgusting and twisted, but I REALLY don't want to know. And I've seen this a LOT in dreams like TSC and TGT. I guess pricks tend to congregate in bigger dreams. But seriously, it's not cool. I don't know who told you it was, but it's not. It creates bad feelings and makes you look like a douche bag. So, take it from an asshole who knows the right and wrong ways to be an asshole, that's wrong way #35.

And now, just for my dear sister Chibby-Chibb, a rant on people who don't read artist comments. Thanks for reminding me, sweetie. n.n

When an artist takes the time to write something about their work, the least you can do is read it. Sometimes, the comments might tell you things about the work that will help prevent you from making yourself look like a dumb cunt when you, unthinkingly, post something in response to the work like. "Wow, this sucks." Hey, pumpkin? If you'd read the artist comment you would know that they're taking their first art class and this is them learning. i'm sorry that not all of us here at DeviantArt are up to the levels of Amy Brown or the programers at Blizzard.

It's so annoying to get feedback on something you've done that makes a comment on something you explained in your artists comments. IE, when someone says "What's going on here?" and you've already explained that!

Hey! Guess what, people! Artists tell about their work for a reason and when you ask a question or make a comment pretaining to something that they explained, but you didn't know thanks to your own failiure to read their explination, you're the one that looks like a fucking idiot. Not them.
